Today, the start of Hospice Care Week 2026, we’re shining a light on something that matters to every one of us: making sure hospice care is there when people need it most.

Hospice care helps ease the physical and emotional pain of death and dying, giving people the opportunity to focus on living, right until the end. But this vital care can’t be taken for granted. Here at Hospice Isle of Man, we simply couldn’t do what we do without our incredible community.

From the people who organise fundraising events and take on challenges, to those who volunteer their time, donate, shop with us, support our appeals, play our lottery, or simply spread the word - every single act of kindness helps make hospice care possible.

The photos here are just a snapshot of the amazing people who stand alongside Hospice Isle of Man. They are the reason we can continue to provide compassionate, specialist care and support to patients and their families across our Island. But we can’t leave the future of hospice care to chance.

Demand for our services continues to grow, and the need for sustainable support has never been greater.

So this Hospice Care Week, we’re asking our community to help us make one thing certain: that high-quality hospice care is here for everyone who needs it, now and for the future.

To every fundraiser, volunteer, donor, supporter, shop customer, business, community group and friend of Hospice Isle of Man, thank you. We couldn’t do it without you.

Don’t leave hospice care to chance. Help us be there, for all, for now, forever.
