Rebecca House Children’s Hospice is the dedicated children’s hospice service of Hospice Isle of Man, established to provide compassionate care for babies, children and young people from birth up to the age of 18 with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

After recognising a growing need for specialist paediatric palliative care on the Isle of Man in the early 2000s, Rebecca House was purpose-built and opened its doors on 12 November 2007. The children’s hospice was named in honour of Rebecca, the wife of Henry Bloom Noble, reflecting the generous support of the Henry Bloom Noble Healthcare Trust towards its creation.

Over the years, Rebecca House has grown into a warm, home-from-home environment offering respite, symptom and pain management, end-of-life care, and vital support for siblings and families. Its multidisciplinary team combines clinical expertise with personalised care, ensuring that children and their loved ones can enjoy quality time together, access tailored therapies and activities, and receive holistic support throughout their journey.

Rebecca House is part of Hospice Isle of Man (Hospice Care – registered charity number 317).

Specialist care for children and families

Our Impact

At our children’s hospice, every number represents a child, a family and a moment that mattered.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we continue to provide specialist care, comfort and compassion to children and young people with life-limiting conditions across the Island, and to the families who love them.

  • Behind every statistic is a family given time to rest.

  • A sibling given space to feel heard.

  • A child given comfort, dignity and joy.
